Vincent Stange

Composition/Installation / Junior Fellow 2021

Vincent Stange, born in 1992, studied under communications expert Prof. Dr. Heike Sperling and composer Marcus Schmickler. In 2020, he completed his studies in music and media at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf. Stange is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Sound and Reality. He is a scholarship holder of the renowned Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes.

In 2019, he presented the performance “Neues Düsseldorfer Modell” at K21 – Kunstsammlung NRW. For Kunstpalast Düsseldorf, Tanzhaus NRW and the interim use project Postpost – Grand Central, he developed interdisciplinary formats that brought together young and established artists. Stange is a member of the Krux collective, whose debut theater production “Der Zwang” was nominated for the Cologne Theater Prize 2018 and awarded the KunstSalon Theater Prize 2019. In 2020, he created the composition “Schnittmodell” for the St. Antonius church in Oberkassel as part of the Düsseldorf International Organ Festival.
